Leaf Pick-Up
The Highway Department offers leaf pick-up usually starting around the 3rd week of October through the 1st week of December. LEAVES ONLY should be raked to the road’s edge but NOT IN THE ROAD OR GUTTER. Please be patient with us during this process as the leaves do not all fall at once and we never know what to expect for our weather conditions. If there are twigs in with the leaves or the leaves are wet from snow or rain, the leaf vacuum cannot retrieve them. If your leaves were not picked up at your scheduled time it may have been because of one of these factors or they were not visible to our crews. This was not done intentionally and we ask for your patience throughout the leaf season.
