Snow Season
The Highway Department runs three shifts during the snow season (Jan. 1st – March 30th). The administrative staff shift is 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; ‘B’ shift is 12:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.; and ‘C’ shift is 3 a.m. to 11 a.m.. From December 1st to April 1st there is a dispatcher on call 24 hours a day. Throughout the snow season snow shall stay on your own property. It is against the law to place anything in the road including snow, leaves, sticks, etc..
It is the Highway Department’s goal to provide roads that are passable and reasonably safe for vehicular traffic as much of the time as possible within the limitations imposed by weather conditions.
There is NO PARKING on roads in the Town of Webster from November 1st thru May 1st during the hours of 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. or during a snow emergency.
