Webster Comfort Care Home

Home

The Webster Comfort Care Home is a non-profit, community-based comfort care home, committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to the terminally ill, and their families in a home like atmosphere.

It is their desire to allow their residents to live in a warm, loving home-like atmosphere of support and encouragement during their final months of life. They believe in the Hospice philosophy of care: all persons have the right to die with dignity, to have an enhanced quality of life for the remainder of their days, and to be as comfortable and pain free as possible.

Their primary goal is to provide comfort care, symptom control and pain management for the residents, as well as to be a source of respite care for the families.  Hands-on resident care is provided around the clock, along with meals, laundry, companionship, as well as emotional, social and spiritual support through volunteers, nurses and social workers.

Admission to Webster Comfort Care is based on those with the greatest need and the fewest options. The services are provided free of charge to the residents.  Because they are a completely independent, not-for-profit organization, financial support for Webster Comfort Care is generated solely through community support and donations.
