Webster Library
The library is located in the Webster Plaza on the corner of Ridge and Hard Roads. This 41,000 square foot facility provides an inviting atmosphere complete with a Children’s Room, a Teen Lounge and a café not to mention over 50 computers with Internet access as well as Microsoft Office products. In addition there is a community room that can accommodate 100 people and can be reserved for non-profit groups at no charge. Thanks to the Friends of the Webster Public Library, we also have wi-fi available.
We have an extensive array of materials for loan including books, large print materials, books on cassette, CD and Mp3 format, video tapes and DVDs, musical recordings, PlayStation 2 and Wii games, CD-ROMs, magazines and reference books for adults, teens, and children. We also have a Small Business Center as well as materials for career preparation.
A free library card is available to any Monroe County resident or property owner who presents verified current identification and proof of address. Children may receive a card at any age when accompanied by a parent or guardian. We want to help you find information and encourage you to ask for help at our Reference Desk.
Our online catalog as well as program information can be found at: www.websterlibrary.org Pre-school story hours and programs for all ages are offered year round. Introductory computer classes are provided in a training lab. All programs are free and open to the public.
