Ronald W. Nesbitt is currently serving his third term as Webster’s 22nd Town Supervisor
Supervisor Nesbitt as first elected Supervisor on November 8, 2005; Re-elected to a second term on November 6, 2007; And on November 3, 2009 Supervisor Nesbitt was overwhelmingly re-elected to a third term by one of the largest vote pluralities in local history (67%).
Prior to taking the oath of office as Supervisor, Mr. Nesbitt was a member of the Webster Town Board and Deputy Supervisor for ten years.
Mr. Nesbitt graduated from R.L. Thomas High School in 1968, and then went to college where he received a degree in the culinary arts.
A few years after graduating from college Mr. Nesbitt purchased his own grocery store, which he owned and operated for 27 years. In 2001 he sold the store and retired as a successful small businessman while remaining active in town government.
Mr. Nesbitt and his wife Karen have three children and three grandchildren
